Genuine or nominal? Everyone is talking about true health care reform—but will it be in name only, or will it bring us the single-payer system enjoyed by every other industrialized nation? George Bush is about to propose some truly silly reforms, the business community is working with allies to protect the current model of private insurance, Governors around the nation are nibbling around the edges—while editorialists and progressive legislators continue to call for change.
